For me they have several purposes down in the depths. 1, they serve as waypoints, as it's super hard to orientate down there and make it clear where you are, as everything looks more or less the same. 2, it's a great type of currency as it makes it possible for the player to purchase special and strong weapons from the bargainer statues, plus special armors. 3, they are just necessary/unnecessary as most of the chests in the game, as most of the chests doesn't count towards 100% completion. However, they can be useful, it depends on how you play the game.

Indeed, a bit surprising, which is nice. Always fun with a little twist to side quests like that Oh, yeah it's very close to that cave, but you need to clear the Yiga-Clan side quest to get to it. And you need the full Yiga outfit to do so, which I don't have yet. But I'll return once I have it

Me too man, they are a big improvement on the divine beasts from Breath of The Wild in my opinion I think I'll be doing the Akkala region next, Gerudo Highlands after that and finally going back to lookout landing

Hmm, that has happened me as well, but only when I already opened the chest. And as the chest doesn't contain anything vital (like an armor piece or something like that) I wouldn't worry about it. As long as it's just a consumable item in the chest it's nothing to worry about. Some chests do return after the blood moon though, so it might be worth returning if you really want the item.

The only way to lock onto enemies is to use the charged shot. Exactly what happened at 3:13 I'm not sure, because I did not charge my shot. But I think it's just because of the cinematic, just so the player knows which ship is talking via the com.

Yeah I like those side quests too, they are hands down among the best in the game Haha, would definitely be a funny twist that's for sure! Yup, Kara Kara Bazaar and then more or less straight to Gerudo town

@@whirlingcow I think it'd be funny to see a game in which Link is first an investigative reporter and people are like, "YOU NEED TO SAVE HYRULE!" and Link is like, "But I'm just a reporter…" LOL! Also since we're entering the Gerudo Region, that means we'll be encountering the Gibdo enemies. I've seen videos which explain that they're resistant to normal physical attacks, but weak against elemental attacks. So I think that the player has to fuse something like a Gleeok Horn to the Master Sword. I'm just wondering how we'll be able to take on Molduga's, since you need Molduga Guts to upgrade stuff like the Sand Boots.

Haha, yeah, that would be funny Yup, the Gibdos are sensitive to electricity so it's a good idea to have electrical stuff fused to your weapons. And the Moldugas are not that hard to defeat at this point in the game, they would be pretty hard if we would've visited the Gerudo Desert as one of the first regions though. But now we have so many great weapons to do massive damage to them

Yeah, I did think about heading to any of the nearby shrines during this episode but felt like I found a pretty straight forward way of exploring the area so I just went with that in this episode. Will be doing shrines in the comming episode though
